The Oklahoma Indian Gaming Assiciation (OIGA) congradulated Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Chief Gary Batton for being inducted into the Okahoma Hall of Fame. Chief Batton will be inducted formally in the Fall.
“Chief Gary Batton is a remarkable leader who has fostered great trust among citizens of the Choctaw Nation and his fellow tribal leaders. He cares deeply about the Choctaw Nation and the State of Oklahoma.
“He leads with integrity and humility, embracing mutual respect as the foundation for productive partnerships. His achievements are many and through his leadership, the Choctaw Nation contributes in positive ways to the economic, social, and cultural fabric of southeastern Oklahoma but also the entire State.
“We congratulate Chief Batton upon the announcement of his induction this fall into the prestigious Oklahoma Hall of Fame. The honor is well deserved.” stated Matthew L. Morgan, OIGA Chairman.
