Graveside services for Henry Glen Treas, age 85 years, 5 months and 15 days, an Ada resident, formerly a lifelong Wapanucka resident, were held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Rosehill Cemetery, in Wapanucka, with the Reverend Dward Justus officiating.
Interment was in Rosehill Cemetery, at Wapanucka.
Services were under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
Treas passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020, in Ada.
He was born on Sunday, December 2, 1934, to Cleophas Kimmey and Elva (Conners) Treas, at Stonewall.
Treas attended Stonewall and Wapanucka Public Schools.
He married Leaveta (Justus) on Saturday, December 15, 1956, at Atoka. They celebrated 63 wonderful years of marriage.
Treas worked for years in the oil field, was a carpenter at Sundowner Trailers, and also a builder and contractor.
He was of the Baptist faith. Treas was saved at home, by the Reverend Kenneth McCarthick. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching cop shows, Live PD, loved to build, loved to get in “Goat” his little truck and ride. Treas served as Wapanuka Mayor and a City Councilman for several years.
Survivors include his wife, Leaveta Faye Treas of the home, in Ada; children, James Treas of Tishomingo; Debbie Welch and husband, Keith, of Rockwell, Texas; Janet Reubin and husband, Eric, of Sulphur; Glenna Fouse and Tom Killewald of Ada; grandchildren, Melissa Allgood and husband, Chris; Casey Welch and wife, Katie; Hannah Treas; Sarah Treas Carson; Caprica Mackey and husband, Randy; Ryan Reubin, Brittanie Christianson and husband, Cody; Jeremiah McVey and wife, Melissa; great-grandchildren, Drew Allgood and Elise Allgood; Abel Williams and Adalynn Williams; Logan Mackey and Parker Mackey; Hunter Welch and Archer Welch; Landon McVey, Ashlyn McVey, Brayden McVey and Nolan McVey; Corbin Christianson and Avery Christianson; brother, Bob Treas and wife, Ann, of Wapanucka; nephews, Bobby Treas and wife, Misty, of Wapanucka; Larry Wayne Treas and wife, Victoria, of Wapanucka; great nephews, Dylan Treas; great nieces, Brady and Brittney Treas; along with other relatives and many dear friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Cleophas and Elva (Conners) Treas.
Pallbearers were Bobby Gale Treas, Larry Wayne Treas, Casey Welch, Keith Welch, Tom Killewald, Richard Welch and Dylan Treas.
Visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
