Charges were filed Friday, May 22, 2020, against Seneca Virginia Bartlett (Castleberry) for the fire at Alliance Health in Atoka on August 2, 2019.
A storage building next to the medical clinic had been set on fire. Dr. Noel Emerson was called to the scene to determine which items were missing. Taken from the clinic were: three HP Elite desktop towers, two Dell Vpro laptops, an Ingenico card reader, Brinks home security box, and $137.00 in cash, the loss of the storage building estimated $20,000.
Oklahoma State Fire Marshall Trenton Griffin located a large hole in the storage building that was used to gain entry into the medical clinic and paperwork had been piled in the middle of the storage building to light it on fire.
Blood and fingerprints were gathered at the scene and sent to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation for analysis.
The missing items were located in a portable storage building at the Better Built Structure Dealership. Bartlett was seen entering the unit and claimed the items were hers.
Bartlett is charged with second degree arson (felony) and second degree burglary (felony).
