On Saturday, May 23, 2020, Atoka County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Anderson received radio traffic from Caney Police Officer Ricky Eldridge about a rolling domestic altercation.
Deputy Anderson arrived on scene and was advised about a traffic stop preformed by Officer Eldridge.
While sitting at a stationary patrol Officer Eldridge was approached by a vehicle claiming to see two individuals in a blue 2003 Ford fighting.
As the officer was speaking to the witnesses the Ford drove by, with the passenger door open and the passenger’s legs on the door, while the driver appeared to try to push them out of the moving vehicle.
The driver, German Ramirez, 31, of Fort Worth, Texas, was placed in Officer Eldridge’s unit while Deputy Anderson spoke to the passenger victim.
