The Atoka County Clerk’s office recently released felony pleas settled in the Atoka County Court.
Matthew Cayne Hemphill is charged with two counts of rape by instrumentation, and attempted rape – first degree.
Hemphill received: Count one – 15 years in Department of Corrections, eight years suspended, sentence will run concurrent to Coal County case CF-19-40 and count two and three;
Count two – 15 years in Department of Corrections, eight years suspended, sentence will run concurrent to Coal County case CF-19-40 and count one and three; Count three – 15 years in Department of Corrections, eight years suspended, sentence will run concurrent to Coal County case CF-19-40 and count one and two.
Sara Ruth Gonzalez is charged with child endangerment by driving while under the influence, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, and driving while under the influence of drugs. Gonzalez received: Count one – five years deferred, $500 fine, plus court costs;
Count two – five years deferred, $500 fine, plus court costs; and Count four- two years deferred, $250 fine, plus court costs.
German Ramirez is charged with domestic abuse – assault and battery, and driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Ramirez received: Count one – reduced to misdemeanor, two years deferred, $100 fine, $50 Victim’s Compensation Assessment, court costs, 15 days in Atoka County Jail, credit for time served; Count two – two years deferred except 15 days in Atoka County Jail, credit for time served, $200 fine, and court costs.

Jon Holstine is charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. Holstine received two years deferred, $250 fine, and $100 Victim’s Compensation Assessment. For TR-2020-00325: operating a motor vehicle while license is suspended Holstine plead guilty.
Jayson Lee Lopez is charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. Lopez received two years deferred, $250 fine, and $50 Victim’s Compensation Assessment.
