Sunday morning, June 7, 2020, Atoka Police Officer Jedediah Griffith arrived at the Atoka Municipal Airport to investigate a report of theft.
Dylan Ward, 26, of Ardmore, had parked his work vehicle in the southwest corner of the Super 8 parking lot. When he checked his vehicle the next morning, the truck cabinets had been opened and multiple power tools had been taken.
Owned by Electric Power Solutions, LLC. the missing power tools included: two Dewalt sawsalls, one Dewalt drill, one Dewalt impact, one Dewalt flashlight, one Dewalt bag, four Dewalt 20 volt batteries, one Dewalt battery charger, and drill bits. The total value of the tools taken was $735.00.
The cabinets were not locked and there was no sign of forced entry. There are no suspects as of press time.
