Raking In The Wins At Oklahoma Youth Rodeo

Three young rodeo competitors hit it big during the Oklahoma Youth Rodeo Association Finals held in Ada.

Kale Graham is  the son of Leslie Umsted-Graham of Caney and Chris Graham of Atoka, won a Polaris Ranger side by side for having the highest point average out of all the age groups that participated.

Kale was top three in barrels, poles, and goats. He won the Finals Barrel Average and Finals Ranch Bronc Average Champion.

He was Reserve Champion Breakaway Roper, Champion Calf Rider, Champion Ranch Bronc Rider, All Around Nine and Under Champion Cowboy.

Along with the Polaris, Kale won three saddles and five belt buckles to add to his collection of other prizes.

Not to be out-shadowed, a brother and sister duo competed in Oklahoma Youth Rodeo Association Finals along with Kale.

Talynn and Trigger Ladd are the children of Summer and Derrick Ladd of Caney.

Talynn won All Around Champion Cowgirl for Nine and under, Reserve Champion in Barrel Racing and Pole bending. She was Top Three Calf Riding Finalist and Top Five Goat Tying Finalist.

This is the second All Around titles held by Kale and Talynn.

Trigger, age 13, rode two out of three bulls at the finals. He was the Reserve Champion Junior Bullrider at the Oklahoma Youth Rodeo Association Finals.

Talynn and Trigger added the wins to their previous Championships and prizes.
