Members of the Victory Life Church in Atoka, lead by Pastor Adam Canler, have started cleaning up their community.
Instead of church services on Wednesdays they are doing “Summer Serve” Community projects.
The congregation began on Wednesday, June 10, with volunteering at the Food Bank. The following week they cleaned up around Atoka.
Picking up litter, they cleaned A Street and the pedestrian underpass that Wednesday, June 17.
“Small steps, we want to continue through June, possibly longer,” commented Pastor Canler when asked how long the church plans to continue cleaning up around town.
