Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS) began taking online applications Tuesday, June 16, 2020 for summer cooling assistance through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
Many households receiving public assistance through OKDHS have been preauthorized to receive summer cooling assistance and have been notified of their eligibility by letter. Preauthorized households do not need to apply.
Households which already receive OKDHS assistance, but do not meet preauthorized selection for summer cooling assistance, have been notified by mail and should apply online at okdhslive.org.
