Charges have been filed against several persons bringing or being in possession of contraband inside Mack Alford Correctional Center (MACC) located at Stringtown.
Layla Ann Myers, 26, of McAlester, is charged with bringing contraband into penal institution (felony), and trafficking in illegal drugs (felony).
Myers smuggled and delivered in excess of 20 grams of methamphetamine and marijuana to former inmate Clem Cole at MACC. Charges were filed June 22, 2020.
Christopher M. Pace, 40, is charged with possession of contraband in penal institution (felony) at MACC. Pace was found having a cellular phone within his cell. Charges were filed June 24, 2020.
Matthew Ray Butler, 32, was charged with possession of contraband by an inmate (felony) at MACC. A black AT&T cellular phone was seized from Butler by MACC Correctional Officer Joseph Barlow. Charges were filed June 22, 2020.
On June 22, 2020, charges were filed against William S. Lyon, 20, for possessing a cellular phone inside MACC. He is charged with possession of contraband by an inmate (felony).
A grey AT&T touchscreen smart phone was taken by Correctional Officer Jason Wing off Brandon W. Curnutte, 42, while in his housing unit. Curnutte was seen using the phone during an identification count.
Curnutte is charged with possession of contraband by an inmate (felony) filed on June 22, 2020.
