On Sunday, June 21, 2020, Atoka Police Officer Jedediah Griffith arrived at a residence on West Cedar Street due to a man trying to enter the home.
The man, Aaron Noble Goode, 39, of Atoka, was not at the residence when Officer Griffith arrived.
Goode’s mother had a protective order against him. She told the officer, Goode began beating on her door.
He then went to the east side of the residence, punching out the partition next to the air conditioning unit, and tried to gained entrance that way.
Goode was located by Atoka Police Officer Tyson Dillishaw. After being instructed to stop, Goode told Officer Dillishaw that he did not know him and was not going to do this today.
He continued to walk away from the officer stating, “I’m not going to talk to an officer I don’t know.”
Officer Griffith arrived and observed Goode walking away from Dillishaw. When the officer advised him to stop, Goode began yelling obscenities.
Goode’s eyes were red, blood shot, and watery. He was very unsteady on his feet. He told Officer Griffith he had had a few drinks.
A half empty bottle of vodka was located on Goode’s person.
He is charged with protective order violation (felony); trespassing after being forbidden (misdemeanor); and public intoxication (misdemeanor).
