Friday, June 19, 2020, Atoka Police Sergeant Jimmy Taylor observed a black 2006 Nissan S18 turn east onto Clarice Avenue by using the left turn signal.
Sergeant Taylor made contact with the driver, identified as Robert Brawdy, 65, of Atoka, who gave the officer an Oklahoma driver’s license, but could not provide proof of insurance.
Brawdy’s information showed his driver’s license was suspended. The tag information on the S18 showed to be registered to a Chevrolet. He stated the tag came with the vehicle when he bought it.
Sergeant Taylor placed Brawdy under arrest and took an inventory of the vehicle before it was towed.
Located inside the S18 was a glass smoking pipe with residue inside. Brawdy was transported to the Atoka County Jail for booking.
