My yard is full of gold colored Day Lillies. I also have a bunch of pink ones. Tonya says they look more like salmon in color. I do not know where they came from, they just showed up in my yard about 4 years ago. Lanta is really blooming and I noticed the Crepe Myrtle is starting to bloom.
Black Eyed Susans are in full bloom along the roads, making it look like a flower garden. There is some Horse Mint showing up as well.
Beverly and Ron Marble are getting ready to go to Louisiana to visit family.
I will have my grandson Scott and his two boys Kayden and Reagan here this weekend for the 4th. We will swim, cookout and watch the fireworks. Scott is in the Air Force, stationed in Kansas. My grandson John and his wife and three boys will be here on Saturday. Fireworks will be put on by the Choctaws at Stringtown on Thursday night and in Durant on Saturday night.
That’s all my news for this week. See you next time, if the Lord willing.
