Tuesday, June 23, 2020, Atoka Police Officer Jedediah Griffith was dispatched to the Shell gas Station due to a male acting erratically.
The suspect, identified as Orlandus Quintell Hill, 43, of Atoka, had already left the convenience store after being advised the police had been called.
Officer Griffith observed Hill arguing with a woman on East Third Street. Hill was advised there was a warrant for his arrest in Atoka County.
After being placed in handcuffs, Hill was searched. Located on his person was a sock containing five syringes, a piece of foil, a set of Digiweigh scales, and a baggie with two grams of a leafy green substance that field tested positive for marijuana.
One syringe contained a clear liquid that later tested positive for methamphetamine.
Hill is charged with two counts of possession of controlled dangerous substance (misdemeanor) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor).
