Tuesday, June 16, 2020, Atoka Police Officer James Riley arrived at the Generation Green dispensary for a report of theft from the store.
Officer Riley spoke with the owner, Kirk Thompson, who stated a white male wearing a black shirt, brown shorts, and a red and black hat took a marijuana vape cartridge from the display case.
The suspect, identified as Dustin Brett Callicoat, 31, of Atoka, was seen on security footage opening the display case while the employee was helping another customer. Callicoat placed the one gram marijuana vape cartridge under his hat.
Officer Riley spoke to the other customer who stated they recognized Callicoat and observed him take the cartridge.
The total value of the theft was $29.31. No arrest was made as of press time.
