Funeral services for Linda “RoRo” Kay Marley (Lemons) Gentry, age 70 years, 4 months and 17 days, an Atoka resident, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel, in Coalgate, with Pastor Joey Lansdale officiating.
Interment will be in McCarty Cemetery, at Coalgate.
Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Coalgate.
Gentry passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020, in Coalgate.
She was born on March 1, 1950, to Ernest and Florence Elizabeth (Danell) Lemons, at Coalgate.
Gentry attended and graduated from Stringtown High School.
She worked as an office manager for her church.
Gentry was a member of the Bible Believer First Assembly Church and attended Stringtown Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts and painting. Gentry loved spending time with family, especially with grandsons.
Survivors include her daughters, Jamy Marley of Stringtown; Amy (Marley) Stevens of Arlington, Texas; son, Michael Paul Marley; grandsons, Jacob, Jonathan and Josh Marley, all of Stringtown; brother, J.D. Lemons and wife, Allison, of Ashland; sisters, Betty Ragan and husband, Sam, of Spiro; Mary Isom and husband, Dan, of Kiowa; sister-in-law, Marsha Lemons of Grand Prairie, Texas; special friend, Sherry Farris of Coalgate; special niece, Donna Franklin and husband, Mike, of Atoka; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Ernest and Florence Elizabeth (Danell) Lemons; brothers, Palmer Lemons and Paul R. Lemons; sister, Joyce (Lemons) Smoot; brother-in-law, Tommy Smoot; grandson, Cody Marley; and a special niece, June Smoot Gann.
