Join us for a special Pete the Cat themed party at the Atoka County Library Tuesday, July 21st from 2:00-3:00 PM. Guests will enjoy games, crafts, and snacks at the festive party.
Pete the Cat is a fictional cartoon best known for his starring role in his own New York Times bestselling children’s book series.
There are currently over 60 Pete the Cat books with more being released every year. Pete the Cat’s character is the creation of artist James Dean.
“We are excited to host programs during summer break for the Atoka community,” said JoAnn Mixon, Branch Manager.
“Targeting youth while they are out of school allows them to engage with the library as well as friends.”
Kids ages 4-6 years old are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian present.
Guests must call to reserve their spot; space is limited to 10. For more information call the Atoka County Library at 580-889-3555.
You can visit us at 279 East A Street in Atoka. The Atoka County Library is a branch of the Southern Oklahoma Library System (SOLS).
