Three inmates of the Mack Alford Correctional Center were charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (felony) on Monday, July 13, 2020.
Reports state that Trevor Holahta, 26; Mario Michaca, 27; and Gregory Walker, 26, who are members of the Sureno Security Threat Group (STG) carried out an attack on another Sureno member on Friday, January 24, 2020.
Surveillance footage of the attack shows Holahta and Walker striking an inmate with closed hands and feet, punching and kicking the victim while Michaca used an improvised weapon (shank) to stab the victim.
The victim received multiple minor scratches, puncture wounds, lacerations to the back, chest, arms, and facial area as a result of the attack.
All three of the participants have been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (felony) for the attack.
