A private cremation was chosen by the family for Betty L. Glover, age 86 years, a Saint Cloud, Florida resident, at Mrs. Glover’s request.
Arrangements were under the care of Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, Funeral Home and Crematory, 2000 13th Street, Saint Cloud, Florida 34769.
Glover passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on November 7, 1933, to William and Ivadell (Vail) Richardson, in Atoka.
Glover married John Glover in high school and his job took them all over the United States.
She was as a Registered Nurse, graduating from Missouri Baptist Hospital Nursing Program, in 1975.
Glover was 1/32nd Choctaw and a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. She began oil painting, in 1965 and was a member of various art guilds. Glover loved to play bridge and was a member of the Saint Cloud Shuffleboard Club.
Survivors include her daughter, Jonna Idell Barker and husband, Lane, of Saint Cloud, Florida; sons, Nick Wayne Glover and wife, Diane, of Orcas Island, Washington; Kenneth Matthew Glover and wife, Mary, of Irving, Texas; brother, John Wayne Richardson and wife, Celia, of Muskogee; grandsons, Erik Glover, Phillip Glover, Justin Barker, Nathan Barker and Brendon Glover; and granddaughter, Morgan Glover.
Preceding her in death were her parents, William and Ivadell (Vail) Richardson and her sister, Thelma Charline Welborn.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Eastern Avenue Baptist Church, 1001 Eastern Avenue, Saint Cloud, Florida 34772.
Glover loved life and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In John 14:3 Jesus said “that where I am, there ye may be also.” We will see you in Heaven.
