Funeral services for Charles H. Hall, age 77 years, 2 months and 1 day, a longtime Lane resident, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel, in Atoka, with Brother Ray Gene Eaves officiating.
Interment was in Farris Cemetery, at Farris.
Services were under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
Hall passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at his home, in Lane, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born on Saturday, May 29, 1943, to William and Ollie (Seabourn) Hall, at Farris.
Hall attended Farris Grade School and he graduated from Atoka High School, in 1962.
He married Joyce (Hogan) on Saturday, May 25, 1963, at Lane. They celebrated 57 years of marriage.
Hall served his country in the Oklahoma National Guard.
He was a rancher and cattle buyer.
Hall worked several years for Allen Lumber and custom hay baling. He owned and operated H & H Cattle Company and Charles Hall Trucking. He served on the Lane School Board and the Lane Fire Department for several years and was an active member of the Lane community. Hall enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Hall of the home, in Lane; children, Terry Hall and Marjory Jones of Tuttle; Sherry Morris and husband, Ronnie, of Lane; Christie Hyatt and husband, Tim, of Lane; grandchildren, Robbie Morris of Atoka; Tara Boren and husband, Jackie, of Lane; Amanda Hall of Centerpoint; Ethan Morris and wife, Stephanie, of Blanchard; Chelsey Tomlinson and husband, Devin, of Tushka; and Tyler Hyatt of Lane; great-grandchildren, Callie and Conner Boren, both of Lane and expecting Baby Tomlinson; special nephews, Jimmy Hall, Larry Wade, Eugene Hall and Chester Hall; along with other relatives and many dear friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, William and Ollie (Seabourn) Hall; siblings, Bessie Weaver, Lorene Wade, Delores Sheffield, Alma Andsager, Ernest Hall and Elmer “Mutt” Hall.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Morris, Tim Hyatt, Ethan Morris, Tyler Hyatt, Jackie Boren, Devin Tomlinson, Taw Griggs and Robbie Morris.
Honorary pallbearers were Pat Kennedy, Dewayne Wilson, David Carpentar, Tommy Lytle, Jerry Lytle, Robert Miller, Roger McDaniel, Bill and Ruby Mixon, Chester Hall and Justin Hall.
Family night was held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Friday, July 31, 2020, at Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
