Funeral services for Jerry Lee Stiles, age 64 years, 11 months and 14 days, a lifelong Atoka resident, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel, in Atoka, with Brother John Clemmetsen officiating.
Interment was in Butler Cemetery, at Lane.
Services were under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
Stiles passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020, at his home, in Atoka, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born on Saturday, August 13, 1955, to Abraham Lincoln “Link” and Marwillie “Willie” (Gravett) Stiles, at Harmony.
Stiles attended Harmony Grade School and Atoka High School.
He married Arlene Faye (Riley) on Friday, November 19, 1993, at Olney. They celebrated 26 years of marriage.
Stiles was a carpenter.
He was of the Baptist faith. Stiles enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, hunting, loved to laugh and hang out with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene Faye Stiles of the home, in Atoka; son, Jerry Anthony Stiles of Atoka; daughter, Miranda Faye Johnson and husband, Sterling, of Durant; sisters, Lou Garrett of Atoka and Precilla Marley of Stringtown; grandchildren, Ashley Stiles, Linkon Stiles, Boadie Stiles, Billy Bob Stiles, Summer Strange, Dominic Jace Johnson and Divinity Shea Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kason Flint, Haydon Rowell and Rhailee Rowell.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Link and Willie Stiles; brothers, Eugene Stiles and Michael Stiles.
Pallbearers were Jerry Anthony Stiles, Steven Stiles, Danny Joe Fritcher, Sterling Johnson, Terry Don Baker and Shawn Johnson.
Visitation was held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
