Charges have been filed against Colten Layne Slawson, 25, of Atoka, for soliciting sexual conduct or communication with minor by use of technology (felony).
On Friday, June 19, 2020, it was reported that Slawson had sent inappropriate messages and an obscene picture to a minor through Snapchat.
The minor refused, blocking Slawson from communicating through the application. He was warned not to contact the minor again.
However, on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, Slawson messaged the minor claiming it was an accident.
Due to Slawson being blocked on the minor’s account he sought out other means of contacting them through social media.
