When Deputies arrived at the residence the two subjects were nowhere to be found.
Smith was being transferred by personal vehicle to the Atoka County Medical Center, however, the vehicle ran out of gas on Highway Seven near Wards Chapel Road.

Brown is being held at the Johnston County Jail for aggravated domestic abuse, attempted murder, and assault and battery with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
