The AFR/OFU Women’s Cooperative recently announced the names of the students who were selected to be a part of the 2020 American Farmers and Ranchers (AFR)/ Oklahoma Farmers Union (OFU) Cooperative Collegiate Women’s Mentorship Program.
Hadleigh Workman, from Caney, an agriculture education sophomore at Eastern Oklahoma State College, was recently selected to be part of the 2020 American Farmers and Ranchers (AFR)/Oklahoma Farmers Union (OFU) Cooperative Collegiate Women’s Mentorship Program. Workman’s greatest accomplishment is being named to the President’s Honor Roll during her first two semesters of college. Her favorite quote comes from Proverbs 31:30; “Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.” Workman is looking forward to the opportunity to service and give back to different communities during her time in the mentorship program.
The AFR Women’s Cooperative Collegiate Women’s Mentorship Program is designed to offer college student’s a one-on-one mentorship with a AFR/OFU Women’s Cooperative council member.
