Sunday, August 2, 2020, Atoka Police Officer Cody Poe was on routine patrol when he observed a female sitting at the library.
Officer Poe spoke to the woman, identified as Brittany Rose, 29, of Atoka, and checked with dispatch to see if she had any warrants.
Rose had an active warrant in Atoka County. She was placed under arrest.
Officer Poe asked Rose if she had anything illegal on her person. Located in a bag, Rose stated there would be a bag of crystal methamphetamine and a syringe of liquid methamphetamine.
Rose was booked at the Atoka County Jail without incident.
She is charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance (misdemeanor), unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor), and public intoxication (misdemeanor).
