On Friday, August 7, 2020, charges were filed against Jamie Laray Crowson Standridge.
The Atoka Police department received documentation on Tuesday, August 4, that showed Standridge making threatening remarks and harassing the victim through social media.
The harassment began over a post on social media on Friday, June 26. Standridge began calling the victim up to 16 times, leaving 16 messages, and four other messages through a Facebook post.
The victim provided 16 pages of Standridge’s postings and comments which include, “I’ma ruin your life,” and “You trying cause a killing.”
Standridge is charged with two counts harassing and threatening electronic communication (misdemeanor), and two counts committing acts of criminal libel (misdemeanor).
