It is too hot to work outside, I thought I was melting and did not last long. We need rain but have been blessed with cool mornings and nights.
Briar Brasfield, son of Brook and Newt, took third place in the sheep riding in his age group at the world finals in Abilene, Texas over the weekend. He is following in his cousin Tuckers foot prints.
I attended the Lane School Board meeting on Monday night, there were a few visitors like me along with board members and school people.
There are still a lot of things that are not set and are up in the air that could change. This is all new to everyone and I hope parents will be patient and do a lot of praying for the teachers and administrators as well as the students. This will be a hard year. No one knows when it will end or if it will end.
We do now have a football schedule for Atoka Games. There will be 11 games. Still do not know how many they will let into the games. There will be homecoming but no class get together.
All I know this time, see you next week the Lord willing.
