On Sunday, August 2, 2020, Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper John Ivey was called to a vehicle on South Forrest Hill Road.
Trooper Ivey observed the driver, Jared Tenequer, 20, of Atoka, to be passed out behind the wheel of the vehicle.
After waking Tenequer, Trooper Ivey observed he had a very strong odor of alcohol on his breath, slurred confused speech, and red bloodshot eyes.
Tenequer had to be helped out of the vehicle and walked to the patrol unit where he was taken to the Atoka County Jail.
He was read implied consent and given the State’s test where the results showed Tenequer breath alcohol level to be 0.26. Legally intoxicated in Oklahoma is 0.08.
Tenequer is charged with actual physical control of vehicle while under the influence (misdemeanor).
