Atoka Police Officer Jedediah Griffith was on routine patrol on Friday, July 31, 2020, when he observed a black Ford with an inoperable brake light and tail lights.
Officer Griffith conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Patrick Leflore, and his two passengers, Christopher Lloyd Davis, 35, of Atoka, and Tyrese Cooper.
It was discovered that Davis had an active warrant in Atoka County. He was asked to exit the vehicle and placed in handcuffs.
Davis advised the officer there was a syringe in his sock. The syringe had a clear liquid inside of it that field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Leflore was cited for his defective equipment and released. Davis was taken to the Atoka County Jail for his warrant, and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
