The Atoka Lions Club is currently having a fundraiser auction on Facebook. The group is Atoka Lions Club Auction.
The Lions Club uses money raised from their fundraisers to: provide scholarships for local high school seniors, purchase eye glasses for people in need, help purchase gifts for the Little Angel Tree, help with the Oklahoma Lions Eye Bank, help with the Lions Boys Ranch in Perkins as well as several other projects.
When the tornado struck Atoka county in 2011, Lions International sent $10,000.00 in relief funds to help families in need.
This is just one chance to help out with tragedies that happen all around the world.
Due to COVID-19 fund raising has been difficult for several organizations. This auction is a great way for you to purchase some good items and help out a great cause.
There are two ways you can help. By going to the Atoka Lions Club Auction page on Facebook and bidding on items or donating items that could be auctioned off.
The majority of the items purchased can be picked up at FirstBank in Atoka.
