The rain that came on Sunday afternoon was a nice surprise. I had left my windows up not expecting rain.
Going to the school is really different now, where I used to go in and go to any class, talk to any teacher or children, can not be done now.
I had state winners in the poster contest our garden club sponsors and wanted to get them back to the students. I always get to do that at the end of the year at the Awards program which did not happen this year. I was not even allowed to go into the building. I was met in the parking lot where I handed them over to be taken into the students. I will miss getting to see the kids and to congratulate the winners.
Things seem to be going good at the school at least we are still having school where some have already closed. I am ready for cool weather and football.
I have not heard of any more cases of the virus in Lane, so that is a good thing and no deaths in Atoka County.
All my news for this time, see you next week the Lord willing.
