Everyone seemed to be glad this week as we reached another milestone as we held our first Sunday evening service since April. We are gradually eliminating a few of our precautions that we have had in place since the onset of COVID-19.
We were glad to have Steve Muncy and his family visit with us last week. Steve enjoyed showing off his granddaughter who is getting ready to start school.
My mother and I enjoyed spending the weekend with my sister and her family. My nephews and their families all came in for us to celebrate my sister, Kenni’s birthday.
Our family all enjoyed a nice dinner, birthday celebration and spending time with each other.
It’s hard to believe, but Jed’s son will be starting school next week. He will be attending Kindergarten at Melissa ISD. His first week is virtual and then he will attend in-person.
We want to give a shout out to Lula Mae Raines, Dennis Bacon and Kenni Lane who all celebrated a birthday this past week.
Happy Birthday wishes also go out to Edna Burleson who will be celebrating a birthday this week.
We are glad to hear that Corkie is doing well after her recent hip surgery.
Please keep Illene Stout in your thoughts and prayers as she deals with medical issues.

TALIHINA ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL– Kathy Anderson and her faculty try out various face shields and masks as they prepare to welcome students back to school this week after what ended up being and overextended spring break and long summer vacation due to COVID-19.

LULA MAE RAINES– Celebrated her birthday with family and friends this past week.
