Friday, August 14, 2020, the Atoka County EMS arrived at the Sunshine Valero due to a male subject laying, unresponsive, on the floor in front of the cash register.
The male, identified as Windelyn Valdo Shoulderblade Jr., 30, told medics he had been walking and was hot, tired, and thirsty. He requested to be transferred to the Atoka County Medical Center.
The medics assisted Shoulderblade to his feet and into the ambulance.
While in the ambulance, Shoulderblade’s finger was cleaned with an alcohol swab in preparation for a blood sugar check. He was asked to keep his hand, palm up, in his lap while the glucometer was prepared.
Shoulderblade used his hand to grab the Medic’s inner thigh. After his hand was removed, Shoulderblade was asked to keep his hand on his lap.
The second time, Shoulderblade moved his hand to grab the Medic between the legs. His hand was removed, and Shoulderblade was informed to keep his hand still and by the cot. He was transported to the Atoka County Medical Center.
The Medic informed Atoka Police Lieutenant Randall Slawson of what had occurred in the ambulance.
While in the exam room, Shoulderblade exposed himself in view of the nurses’ station. He was treated for dehydration and foot blisters.
Shoulderblade is charged with sexual battery (felony), indecent exposure (felony), and public intoxication (misdemeanor).
