Foster was detained on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, shortly after arriving at the MACC facility as a result of an ongoing investigation into contraband introduction.
Located on her person were three vacuum sealed packages containing marijuana, tobacco, and methamphetamine. The investigation was conducted by Agent Eric VanGurp of the Criminal Interdiction Division and Agent Travis Crawford.
Foster is charged with three counts of bringing contraband into penal institution (felony). Each count has the potential sentence of one to five years in a state penitentiary, a fine of $100 to $1,000, or both fines and imprisonment.
