Atoka Police Officer Jedediah Griffith was dispatched to a residence on West Cedar Street for a report of a male attempting to break into the home on Monday, September 7, 2020.
The suspect, Aaron Noble Goode, 39, of Atoka, had entered the residence through a bedroom window, and was in the kitchen getting food.
There was an active protective order against Goode by the owner of the home.
Officer Griffith entered the home and spoke to Goode who was standing in front of the stove.
Goode was placed under arrest and transported to the Atoka County Jail. He is charged with burglary in the first degree (felony), and protective order violation (misdemeanor).
