Edna Burleson enjoyed a nice trip to Branson this past weekend with her daughter, Sherri Wolf of Sasche, Texas, niece Dianne Burleson Isom and family friends, Debra Lindsey and Carolyn Eaton.
The quintet had a great time and received lots of comments on their T-Shirts which sported the inscription: WARNING: Girls Trip in Progress. We all know with Edna as the anchor the group couldn’t have got into too much trouble.
The group enjoyed going to Sight and Sound Theatre where they saw the epic musical performance of Noah. The ladies also visited Clay Cooper’s Theatre and enjoyed an entertaining performance of the Baldknobbers.
Our Sunday school services are finally back in full swing. We also have openings for teachers in the nursery and preschool if anyone is interested.
Anniversary congratulations go out to Benny and Lavona Wyrick who celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this past week.
Ruthie Anderson enjoyed visiting with cousin, Susan Roberts this past week. Suzy was coming to visit her daughter, Emily and stopped by Ruthie’s to pick up some pictures from years ago. They both enjoyed visiting and reminiscing.
For those of you who follow the PBR (Professional Bull Riding) the 2020 PBR World Finals has moved from Las Vegas to Texas due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
The 2020 PBR World Finals will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on November 12th-15th.
We are glad to hear that Gladys is recovering well after having knee surgery this past week. Eileen Garcia is also home recovering after her recent surgery. Please remember to keep both Gladys and Eileen in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to recover.
Please keep Wendy Isom in your thoughts and prayers especially this week. Wendy will be having foot surgery this Thursday and will have to stay off her foot for at least six weeks.
Rumor has it that she already has some help lined up in sister, Donna Watson. It’s great to have a sister like Donna. During Donna’s visits this summer, she seemed to always arrive just in time to help Robby and Wendy mow. Sisters don’t get much better than that.
Please keep Ricki Thompson and her family in your thoughts and prayers as she deals with medical issues.
Please keep Tommy and Kay Glover in your thoughts and prayers. Tommy’s son, Tim Glover passed away last week from injuries he sustained in a fall.
Please continue to keep the family of Jeff Sewell in your thoughts and prayers.

Warning: Girls Trip in Progress – was hopefully just the T-Shirt design as cousins and friends took Branson by surprise this past weekend. Pictured are Dianne (Burleson) Isom, Debra Lindsey, Sherri (Burleson) Wolf, Edna Burleson, and Carolyn Eaton.
