Monday, September 28, 2020, Atoka Police Officer Taylor Wood received a call due to the Atoka Public School Ag Barn had been broken into.
Officer Wood spoke with Jay Harvey who stated multiple items had been taken from the school.
Arriving on scene, the officer reviewed security footage that showed an unknown male suspect with a camouflage jacket, blue jeans, and a black ball cap inside the Ag Barn going through items.
The suspect took a Karcher 3200 PSI presser washer, Easy Go golf cart, Country Cut zero turn mower, a camo roof cover, seats for the golf cart, and a clear windshield. The lost items were valued at $3,579.99.
Security footage showed two male suspects leaving with the items.
Harvey was able to follow a set of tracks from the Ag Barn to Sixth Street.
Officer Wood received permission from the land owner to follow the tracks across the property. The tracks lead the officer to the camo roof cover, gold cart seat, and windshield.
These items were recovered by the Atoka Police Department. There are no suspects as of press time.
