Tuesday, September 29, 2020, Atoka Police Officer Cody Poe, while patrolling, observed a red 1994 Chevrolet pickup turn right onto East C Street without using a turn signal.
Officer Poe conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Kylee Trent, 33, of Lane.
The passenger of the vehicle advised Officer Poe the signal lights did not work.
Trent stated she did not have a license. A check confirmed her license to be suspended. She was placed under arrest for driving under suspension, failure to signal, deffective vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officer Poe asked if there was anything illegal in the vehicle. Trent said there were some “used meth pipes” in a bag.
Two glass pipes with a burnt residue were located in the truck. Trent was transported to the Atoka County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Donnie’s Wrecker Service.
