Saturday, October 17, 2020, Atoka Police Officer Cody Poe conducted a traffic stop on a truck with defective equipment near the intersection of Thirteenth Street and Highway 69.
While speaking with the driver, Officer Poe noticed the passenger, identified as Nickie Renee Bell, 44, of Atoka, avoiding looking at the officer.
Officer Poe checked her information with dispatch and it was discovered she had active warrants in the City of Atoka.
Bell was placed under arrest for her warrants, and asked if she had anything on her person that would be considered contraband.
She admitted to having a “meth pipe” hidden in her bra and a small amount of methamphetamine.
Bell was transported to the Atoka County Jail where the items were removed. She was cited for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
