Ruthie Anderson’s grandson, Jedidiah Lane of Melissa, Texas, competed this weekend in his first competitive Jui Jitsu Tournament, capturing second place in the Jui Jitsu World League Tournament held in Dallas, Texas.
Jed and his 5 year old son, Gavin, both study at the Martial Arts Laboratory in McKinney, Texas.
Jo-Ann Gabbart enjoyed attending her great grandson’s 2nd birthday this weekend.
Wendy Isom is slowly recovering from her recent foot surgery. This week she received a good report and now has a cast. If all goes well in a few weeks she will have the cast replaced with a boot. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she recovers.
Brother Bob and Dorothy Muncy and daughter, Dottie all enjoyed attending a family reunion in Ballenger, Texas, this past weekend.
Ruthie Anderson enjoyed spending the weekend with daughter, Kenni and son-in-law, Rick and great-grandsons, Gavin and Ollie, as she attended their annual hayride.
The annual hayride always consists of a trip through the pumpkin patch, where everyone can bring home a few pumpkins to either carve or decorate.
Happy Birthday wishes go out to Owen Kellogg, who celebrated a birthday this past week.
For those of you who weren’t at church this past Sunday, you missed a blessing. Brother Phil sang a special entitled, “May We Be One”.
We want to remind everyone that our Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes are due at the church on November 15th. Our goal is to have 70 shoeboxes to send.
