The Atoka County Clerk’s office recently released sentence pleas settled in the Atoka County Court.
Jordan Muhamud Black is charged with escape from arrest or detention. Black received two years suspended sentence and $200 fine.
For CM-19-30: driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Black received for Count One: one year suspended sentence, $100 fine, and $50 Victim’s Compensation Assessment; Count Two: one year suspended sentence and $100 fine.
For TR-19-52: inattentive driving resulting in a collision. Black received an $88 citation.
Billy Don Smith is charged with driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol – second and subsequent charge.
Smith received five years suspended sentence, $250 fine, and $50 Victim’s Compensation Assessment.
Aaron James Newton is charged with unauthorized use of vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident with damage, driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs and alcohol, transporting an opened container of beer, and driving with license cancelled/suspended/revoked.
Newton received for Count One: dismissed without cost; Count Two: one year suspended sentence except 30 days in Atoka County Jail; Count Three: one year suspended sentence except 30 days in Atoka County Jail, $200 fine, and $50 Victim’s Compensation Assessment; Count Four: 30 days in Atoka County Jail; and Count Five: $100 fine.
Samantha Dawn Henson is charged with driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. She received two years deferred sentence, $200 CFF (fine), and $50 Victim’s Compensation Assessment.
For TR-20-1300 and TR-20-1302: transporting an opened container of beer. Henson received two $88 citations.
For TR-20-1301: failure to wear a seat belt, Henson was cited $20.
For TR-20-1303: transporting an opened containing of liquor, Henson was cited $88.
For TR-20-1304: defective vehicle/operating defective vehicle, Henson received an $88 citation.
Dewayne Durant Fletcher is charged with arson in the first degree. He received eight years suspended sentence except 90 days in Atoka County Jail, $200 fine, court costs, and restitution of $1,000.
Benjamin Scroggins is charged with burglary in the second degree, and malicious injury to property – under $1,000.
Scroggins received for Count One: five years deferred sentence except 45 days in Atoka County Jail, $200 fine, $50 Victim’s Compensation Assessment, court costs, and restitution of $1,150; Count Two: two years deferred sentence except 45 days in Atoka County Jail, court costs, and restitution of $500.
Sarah Elizabeth Johnson is charged with driving while under the influence of drugs. She received two years deferred sentence.
For TR-20-608: inattentive driving resulting in collision. Johnson received an $88 citation.
