Funeral services for Patricia “Pat” Jane (O’Hern) Lahman, age 88 years, 5 months and 9 days, a lifelong Caddo resident, were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel, in Atoka, with Brother Sam Vaughn officiating.
Interment was in Caddo Cemetery, at Caddo.
Services were under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
Lahman passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at Denison, Texas.
She was born on Thursday, March 17, 1932, to Roy Lee and Irene (Tallman) O’Hern, at Hennessey.
Lahman received a Master’s Degree.
She married Paul Lahman, on Sunday, August 19, 1951, at Mt. Carmel, in Caddo. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2000. They celebrated 49 years of marriage before his passing.
Lahman was a teacher and principal.
She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Lahman enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, traveling and playing slots at Choctaw.
Survivors include her daughter, Terry Burkhalter and husband, Kim, of Caney; grandchildren, Leith Burkhalter and wife, Randi, of Caney; Kirby Burkhalter and wife, April, of Caddo; great-grandchildren, Emma Burkhalter and Elaina Burkhalter, both of Caney; Dylan Burkhalter, Gunner Burkhalter and Tanner Burkhalter, all of Caddo; brothers, Roy O’Hern, Jr. and wife, Bonnie, of Caney; Bob O’Hern and wife, Donna, of Midwest City; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Roy Lee and Irene (Tallman) O’Hern; daughter, Teresa Lahman; siblings, Gary O’Hern and Beverly Harbin; brother-in-law, H.L. Harbin.
Pallbearers were Leith Burkhalter, Kirby Burkhalter, Kyle Harbin, Colin Harbin, Blake Harbin and Joe Don Eaves.
Honorary pallbearers were Eddie Harbin, Roger Harbin, Lee Harbin, Mark O’Hern, Wyatt O’Hern and Shawn Fincher.
Family night was held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Friday, August 28, 2020, at Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
