Funeral services for Evonne (Whitehead) Reigh, age 71 years, a Yale resident, formerly of Atoka, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at the First Baptist Church, in Yale.
Interment will be in Lawson Cemetery, at Yale.
Services are under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, in Yale.
Reigh passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020, in Guthrie.
She was born on September 12, 1949, to Albert and Rene Whitehead.
Reigh graduated from Atoka High School, in 1967, before earning a bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
She married Randall Reigh, shortly before moving to Yale.
Reigh worked as a teacher, in Yale, where she taught kindergarten, second and fourth grades, until retiring.
She taught Sunday School at the Yale First Baptist Church. Reigh enjoyed traveling, shopping, watching TV, but most of all, spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters.
Survivors include her sons, Marshall and wife, Shana, of Medford; Riley and wife, Libby, of Stillwater; granddaughters, Sydney JoLee and Lilia Ruth; sister, Carol Darrow and husband, Donny, of Story; brother, Alan Whitehead and wife, Vanessa, of Atoka; brother-in-law, Darryel Reigh and wife, Phyllis, of Oklahoma City; nephews and nieces, Dudley Darrow and wife, Megan; Dana Darrow; Emily Reigh; Kenzie Smith and husband, Justin; Stasen Whitehead and wife, Kimberly; Gabriel Whitehead and Addyson Whitehead; and many great-nephews and nieces, dear friends and retired colleagues.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Randall Reigh; father, Albert Whitehead; mother and stepfather, Rene and Foy Callicoat; and nephew, Tyler Whitehead.
