A memorial service for Richard Keith Jackson, 59 years of age, an Atoka resident, were held on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Criswell Funeral Home, in Ada.
Jackson passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020, at his home, in Atoka, after six and a half years of dialysis.
He was born on April 13, 1961, to Raymon H. Jackson and Rose Jane VanSchuver Jackson, at Fort Bliss Army Base, in El Paso, Texas.
Jackson graduated from Vanoss High School and later from East Central University.
He married Laura Anne Smith, on February 25, 1984, at Daisy.
Jackson was an A+ Certified Computer Repair Man.
He was a wonderful husband, friend and foster dad. Jackson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atoka. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on computers.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Jackson of the home, in Atoka; mother, Rose Jane Jackson of Ada; sister, Rose Marie Sloan and husband, Doug, of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law, Sharon Burris and husband, Alan, of Ardmore; niece, Emily Tate and husband, Josh, of Oklahoma City; nephews, Daniel Smith and fiancé, Erin, of Wichita Falls, Texas; Aaron Smith and wife, Thea, of Lindsay; great nieces, Fallon Smith and Emory Smith, both of Wichita Falls, Texas; along with other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his father, Raymon Jackson and a brother-in-law, Jeffrey Smith.
