Funeral services for Charles “Hoss” Rodger White, age 72, a Lane resident, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel, in Atoka, with Brother Raymond Humphrey officiating.
Interment will be in Butler Cemetery, at Lane.
Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
White passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Atoka.
He was born on Wednesday, October 6, 1948, to Charles and Geraldine (Smith) White, at Atoka.
White attended Lane Elementary School and graduated from Atoka High School.
He proudly served his country in the Army.
White was a master carpenter.
He was an adventurer and enjoyed fishing and gold panning and fishing in Alaska. White was a believer in Jesus Christ, and loved his family very much.
Survivors include his daughters, Amanda Bevan and husband, Rob, of Killeen, Texas; Beth Morgan and husband, Michael, of Big Pine Key, Florida; Sara White of Atoka; granddaughters, Ashlyn Palmer of Killeen, Texas; Miranda Pierce and husband, Jacob, of Jeffersonville, Indiana; Brianna Bevan of Killeen, Texas; Patience Cooke of Bells, Texas; Hope Cooke of Key West, Florida; Alley Morgan and Paisley Morgan, both of Eldon, Missoui; grandsons, Jordan Palmer and Robert Bevan, Jr., both of Killeen, Texas; Haydin Russell of Atoka; Trenton Morgan and Parker Morgan, both of Eldon, Missouri; great-granddaughter, Hailee Cooke-Morgan of Big Pine Key, Florida; great-grandsons, Charles Robert Romo-White and Spencer Keith Romo, both of Killeen, Texas; Naabaahii Alexander Cooke of Bells, Texas; sisters, Wetta Reece of Lane; Dana Jackson and husband, Dean, of Lane; along with numerous nieces and nephews and the mother of his children, Clara Sue (Hunter) White.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Charles and Geraldine (Smith) White; grandson, Christian Cooke; and sister, Jan Walker.
Pallbearers are Jordan Palmer, Shannon Reece, Kelly Smith, Dean Cooksey, Mike Morgan and Robert Bevan.
Honorary pallbearers are Larry Joe Hunter, Jessie Goodson, Bobby Lee Rector, Gary Gregory, Steven Reece, Dean Jackson, Haydin Russell, Maverick Denson and Tate Powell.
Family night was held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
