Jean Avelene (Ramsey) Andrews was born in Seminole County, on May 5, 1928, and went to her forever home on Monday, October 19, 2020.
She was a long time resident of Atoka, where she was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church. She resided in Seminole, for the last five years prior to her passing from this life.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Rossie Dale Andrews.
She is survived by her sons Kenny Ross Andrews of Oklahoma City and Jerry Lawrence Andrews of Seminole; grandchildren, Jason Allen Smithart of Chicago, Illinois; Jessie Dale Andrews of Santiago, Chile; and Caspian Andrews of Seminole; brothers, Donald Ray Ramsey of Seminole and Jimmy Vance Ramsey of Oklahoma City; sisters, Edith Voncille Poole of Woodward and Shirley Ann Patton of Oklahoma City; many nieces and nephews; and many Christian brothers and sisters.
She will always be remembered for the lasting effects on all of the lives which she encountered.
An outdoor memorial service will be held at the Wewoka Cemetery, in Wewoka, at her resting place next to her husband, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2020. All relatives and friends are welcome to attend and may wear masks due to the Covid virus.
