Graveside services for Ruby Lee Winborn, age 92 years, a Jenks resident, formerly of Atoka, were held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at Bentley Cemetery, in Bentley.
Interment was in Bentley Cemetery, at Bentley.
Services were under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
Winborn passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at Bartlesville.
She was born on Tuesday, September 11, 1928, to James and Manzie Beatrice “Tootsie” (Key) Howard, at Williams.
Winborn attended Bentley School.
She married Homer Fred Winborn on Saturday, April 24, 1948, at Sherman, Texas. They celebrated 58 wonderful years of marriage before Homer’s passing in May of 2006.
Winborn was a proud and fun housewife.
She was a lifelong Baptist. Winborn enjoyed “being bossy” and telling others what to do; loved flowers and anything outdoors. She loved playing cards, games, dominos, bingo, and bunko at the assisted living center, but most of all she loved her family, the grandkids and great-grandkids topping that list.
Survivors include her daughters, Pat Saxby and husband, George; Sheron Norris and husband, David; granddaughters, Amy Berk and husband, Josh; Alyn Williams and husband, Bryan; grandson, Ryan Norris; great-grandsons, Bryce Casey and Ahren Norris; great-granddaughters, Rylee Williams and Anna Casey; brother, Paul Howard and wife, Von; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Fred Winborn; parents, James and Manzie Beatrice “Tootsie” (Key) Howard; brother, Charles Melvin Howard and wife, Christine; sister, Betty Ruth Jordan and husband, Herschel; sister, Manzie Marie Stewart and husband, AC.
Pallbearers were David Norris, George Saxby, Ryan Norris, Bryan Williams, Bryce Casey and Ahren Norris.
Family night was held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
