Funeral services for DeLinda Sue (Woods) Evans, age 72 years, 1 month and 18 days, a lifelong Atoka resident, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at the Coben Community Center, in Lane.
Services were under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
Evans passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Atoka.
She was born on Wednesday, October 27, 1948, to Buster Dewitt and Billie Jean (Roland) Woods, at Atoka.
She attended Harmony Grade School and graduated from Atoka High School.
Evans was a caregiver.
She married Winfred Evans on Friday, February 27, 1970, at Durant. They celebrated 50 years of marriage before her passing.
Evans was a Christian. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, taking care of her garden, family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include husband, Winfred Evans of the home, in Atoka; children, Tonya Annette Miller of Arkansas; Dennis Evans and wife, Wanda, of Richmond, Virginia; Charles Evans and special friend, Jillian Johnson, of Atoka; Amanda Deaton and husband, Russell, of Atoka; 12 grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Cantrell, Mary Goodwin and Barbara McCarty; brothers, Douglas Woods, Ralph Crow, Jerry Crow, John Henry Crow, Glenn Crow, Robert Crow and Virgil Crow; lifelong friends, Marlene Gabriel and Peggy Maxey; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Buster Dewitt and Billie Jean (Crow) Woods; daughter, Ronda Renee Pate; brothers, Larry Crow and Donald Crow; and sister, Christine Crow.
