Funeral services for Elaine Carol (Collum) Johnson, age 75, a McAlester resident, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel, in Atoka, with Bill Sluder officiating.
Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery, at Atoka.
Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
Johnson passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at McKinny, Texas.
She was born on Wednesday, January 31, 1945, to Presly and Vonda Marie (Hanson) Collum, at Atoka.
Johnson attended Atoka High School and Bying Nursing School, in Ada. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse in Atoka, Nebraska and Lubbock Reese National Air Force Base Memorial Hospital.
She retired from civil service after 32 years. Johnson’s passion in life was her love for dogs and roses.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeanette Faro and husband, Chris, of McKinny, Texas; stepdaughter, Marketa Johnson of McAlester; brother, Lesley Collum of Atoka; grandchildren, Alisha Collins and fiance, Michael Trevino, of Melissa, Texas; Ashley Burns and husband, Cody, of Celina, Texas; Aarika Moody and fiance, Troy Cates, of San Antonio, Texas; Sofia Faro, Sebastian Faro and Luca Faro, all of McKinny, Texas; Hannah Jiles and husband, Heath, of McAlester; great-grandchildren, Jake Collins, Kaden Cates, Karsen Cates, Kenzie Burns, Kate Burns and Pheonix Trevino.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Presly and Vonda Marie (Hanson) Collum; son, Bobby Capps; husband, Don Johnson; ex-husbands, Gene Capps and Dr. Walter Reed.
Pallbearers are Troy Cates, Luca Faro, Michael Trevino, Sebastian Faro, Cody Burns and Chris Faro.
Family welcomed friends for visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
