Graveside services for Della Mae (Williamson) Gabbart, age 94 years, a Daisy resident, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at the Brooken Cemetery.
Interment was in Brooken Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, in Stigler.
Gabbart passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, in McAlester.
She was born on January 22, 1926, to Horace and Neva (Jamison) Williamson, at Daisy.
Gabbart lived most of her 94 years in Oklahoma, in Daisy, Chickasha, Kiowa and Brooken. She also lived in Kansas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.
She was a great homemaker and cook.
Her other interests were gardening and canning, sewing, quilting, embroidery and jigsaw puzzles.
She started life in a house without running water or electricity to living in a world where everyone carries a phone in their pocket. Gabbart lived through the Great Depression, the Dust Bowl, and the effects of many wars. She grew up traveling in a covered wagon or on horseback to seeing men on the moon and living in space as a common occurrence.
Survivors include her son, Eddie Gabbart and wife, Tami; her daughter, Neva Erbacher and husband, Paul; six grandchildren, Paul Erbacher and wife, Lauren; Suni Dugan and husband, Buddy; Amy Few and husband, Jason; Maarin Erbacher; Bobby Gabbart and wife, Claire; Luke Gabbart and wife, Crystal; twenty-one great grandchildren, Kolton Dugan; Kameron Dugan; Kacie Hays; Kenzie Few; Jaxon Few; Gage Gabbart; Abbi Erbacher; Blayne Gabbart; Kaiden Gabbart; Paix Erbacher; Selah Gabbart; Nina Dugan; Natalie Dugan; Karsyn Dugan; Aiden Dugan; A J Few; Lazarus Gabbart; Koda Gabbart; Brantley Hays; Lance Hays; and Camberlin Hays; eight-great great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard Williamson and wife, Judy; Virgil Williamson and wife, Doris; sister-in-law, Delcie Williamson; and special friends, Carol and Jim Ward; along with many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Horace Jackson (Jack) Williamson and Neva Fay Jamison Williamson; her husband of 61 years, Bob Gabbart; son, Bobby Joe Gabbart; great-grandson, Daxtyn Gabbart; sister, Marie (Dode) Whitfield and her husband, George; sister-in-law, Wynema Williamson; and brothers, J E (Ed) Williamson and his wife, Wynona; Bill Williamson and Floyd Williamson.
Visitation was held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 11, 2021, at the Mallory Chapel, in Stigler.
